Becoming a parent is a huge transition, and having the right support along the way can make all the difference. We know many incredible resources exist for pregnant and postpartum families, from classes, support groups, to community organizations, and more, but they’re not always easy to find. And we don’t believe in gatekeeping the things that can truly help families feel supported, cared for, and empowered, so here is Goldie’s guide to pregnancy and postpartum resources. We hope you’ll discover something here that makes your journey a little easier.

Prenatal Health & Wellness

Staying active and caring for your body and mind during pregnancy can ease discomfort, prepare you for labor, and support postpartum recovery.

  • The Lotus Method- Fitness training tailored for pregnancy and postpartum, focused on strength and alignment. (Noe, Marina, Oakland)

  • Preggo Pilates- Pilates designed for core strength, safe movement, and mindful breathing through pregnancy. (Mission)

  • MNT- Signature class MNTMAMA is rooted in functional strength training, for prenatal and postpartum mamas. *They offer childcare during your workout! (Marina)

  • Expecting and Empowered(virtual) - Evidence-based prenatal and postpartum workout programs you can follow at home.

  • The Belle Method (virtual) - Combines Pilates, pelvic health and functional training for preconception, pregnancy, postpartum and perimenopause.

  • Mamastefit (virtual) - Online fitness programs designed by perinatal strength coaches and doulas.

  • Expectful(mindfulness) - A mindfulness and meditation app designed specifically for pregnancy, birth, and new parenthood.

Childbirth Education Classes

The more you know, the more confident you can feel heading into birth and early parenthood. CBE classes give you practical tools, evidence-based information, and a supportive community.

Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga

Yoga offers gentle movement, stress relief, and community throughout pregnancy and postpartum recovery.

  • AnnaMaria Rajala(East Bay) - Yoga and movement classes focused on functional strength and mindful pregnancy.

  • The Pad Studios- Yoga studio in SF offering prenatal and postnatal yoga alongside regular classes

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

Pelvic floor therapy supports labor prep and recovery from pregnancy and birth by addressing core strength, pain, and function.

  • Origin(online and in person) - Virtual and in-person PT specializing in pelvic floor, core, and full-body rehab for women. Takes most commercial insurance.
